Shop Hand
Focus Manufacturing Services is currently seeking a Shop Hand Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with MasterCam programming. Set up jobs on any of the machines and train other team members to become efficient as well. Work daily to continuously improve the process. Aid in any of the techniques/procedures by ensuring we have the correct procedures/blueprints for each job we run in our machine shop. Strive for kitting jobs to best suit the demands of the jobs to eliminate waste. Follow and maintain schedule. Understanding the names of parts & fixtures to go along with procedures. Contribute to improving the safety of our shop. Maintain a clean machine shop environment. Complete understanding of each print and its GD&T requirements. Minimize scrap Keep machine run time utilization high Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the metal fabrication industry is preferred. Strong math is a plus.
