Senior-Level Private Cloud Administrator

Lockheed Martin is actively seeking a senior-level private cloud administrator to support our Space business area unclassified & classified programs located in our Cape Canaveral, Florida, US offices. Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Operate and maintain multiple program-specific, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), disconnected cloud-native container platforms, including support for lifecycle automation, container image synchronization, and security signing. Contribute to the engineering, operations, maintenance, and growth of the persistence layer for a geographically dispersed, high availability container-platform architecture, with a focus on supporting military-grade security hardening and digital integrity of container images, and automation packages. Participate in the horizontal integration process between Lockheed Martin Space, external partners, and internal business area peers to ensure seamless collaboration and information exchange. Apply expertise in information technology infrastructure and cybersecurity principles to support digital transformation and modernization effort, ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, including DoD Cybersecurity, Cyber DFAR, and Risk Management Framework. This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site, the majority of the time, and includes occasional regional travel, off-shift work and some weekend activities. This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Top Secret clearance, and maintain it throughout the life span of the position with the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start. This position requires the ability to obtain a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., Security+, CASP, CISSP), within the first six months of employment, and maintain it throughout the life span of the position. US Citizenship required for access to the work facility. No dual citizenship. Hands-on with experience with one or more cloud technologies (PaaS, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Hand-on experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions (i.e., Red Hat OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, etc.). Hand-on experience with container runtimes (i.e., Docker, Podman, Runc, Containerd, etc.). Ability to move, rack, stack and install physical equipment by lifting up to 40 lbs. Desired Skills

Bachelor of Science degree from accredited University Active DOD Secret clearance (investigation within 5 years or CV enrolled) Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e., Security+, CASP, CISSP) Hand-on experience with container orchestration platforms (i.e., Rancher, Kubernetes, Nomad, AWS ECS, etc.) Red Hat Linux Administration (system installation/configuration, Kickstart, KVM Virtualization, RHV/ovirt virtualization) Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.) Experience with container image management (i.e., Harbor, GitHub, Docker Hub, etc.) Directory Services Administration (FreeIPA/RedHat IdM) Knowledge of a unified security and observability platform (i.e., Cisco Splunk, etc.) Knowledge of Directory Services (i.e., LDAP, Kerberos, TLS Certificates, DNS) Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e., system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.)) Experience with Network Protocols (i.e., IPv4 / IPv6 Routing, DHCP, Syslog, Tunneling protocols, packet analysis, etc.) Fundamental understanding of the OSI model Ability to demonstrate effectiveness in communications Experience designing and presenting using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
