Laser Operator

QAD is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating laser engraving machines to produce high-quality, custom-engraved products. Key responsibilities include: Setting up and operating laser engraving equipment Running jobs according to specifications and production schedule Ensuring engraved products meet quality standards Performing routine cleaning and maintenance on laser machines Troubleshooting minor equipment issues Maintaining a clean and organized workstation Reporting to the production supervisor Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Previous experience as a Laser Operator or Laser Engraver preferred Familiarity with EZCADZ (YAG) and/or CORELDRAW (CO2) software is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings and file specifications Excellent attention to detail and precision Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits: Group medical insurance (eligible after 90 days) 9 paid holidays, paid vacation, and sick leave 401(k) with company match (after 1 year) Access to company archery equipment and ranges (after 90 days) Tags: Laser Operator, Laser Engraver, First Shift, Manufacturing, Production, CO2 Laser, YAG Laser, Machine Operator, CNC, Graphics, Vector File Conversion
