We are looking for a professional Dental Hygienist who can translate their background, education, and rich experience into an engaging learning environment in both the classroom and lab/clinical setting. Requirements: Master's Degree in dental hygiene or related field Active Minnesota dental hygiene license Current CPR certification 2-3 years of clinical experience Previous teaching experience is preferred Pay: Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. The salary range for this position is $63,291 to $85,629. Responsibilities: Subject Matter Expertise Effective Communication Pedagogical Mastery Operational Excellence Appreciation and Promotion of Diversity Assessment of Student Learning Utilization of Technology to Enhance Teaching and Learning Continuous Improvement These competencies, as identified by the University's academic community, encompass the knowledge, skills, and behaviors essential to a faculty member's success in the classroom and provide the basis for the faculty hiring, evaluation, and development process. Physical Requirements: In addition to teaching in the classroom, developing relationships with our clinical partner sites, and meeting with students during your office hours, our Dental Hygiene program has a clinical component. Visually or otherwise identify, observe, and assess. Ability to reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects. Ability to see and hear within normal parameters. Lift up to 25 pounds.
