Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is excited to announce an opening for a Practice Manager-West for location(s) Camdenton/Laurie! COMC is a Missouri non-profit, federally qualified health center that has served Pulaski, Laclede, Camden and Miller counties for over 40 years. Operates at the site level and is responsible for the management of assigned clinic location(s). Responsible for managing the day-to-day operational flow and assumes overall responsibility of the implementation of COMC's practice policies, procedures, and programs and for maintaining staff and systems in an efficient professional and cost-effective practice environment. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Manages practice location administrative team members including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that productivity and actions of assigned team members supports the overall operational goals of the department as established by COMC leadership. Identifies and implements ways to improve service to patients. Identifies practice problems, proposes and implements solutions. Serves as liaison among medical, behavioral health, dental staff, administrative staff, and patients when appropriate. Works closely with other Practice Managers, Dental Operations Manager and members of the management team to ensure access to high-quality comprehensive care. Participates and adheres to operating budget. Available for immediate and timely response to barriers or obstacles to workflow, all complaints, incident reports and concerns. Elevate to appropriate leadership when necessary and follow up for resolution. Create and support a smooth and efficient practice environment; assists in developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures. Coordinate staff assignments and use of vacation /sick leave of operations team to ensure adequate coverage; ensure adequate backup and covering for all staff functions in the absence of regularly scheduled personnel. Serves as EMR resource for practice location staff members, in partnership with EHR Specialist. Reviews and approvals of timecards of assigned staff members for bi-weekly payroll. Complete employee performance evaluations for team members on a timely basis. Create an environment where employee engagement and feedback facilitate positive change. Works with practice location(s) staff to ensure 340B compliance. Work collaboratively with the Billing department to support the billing process and sliding fee process. Maintain inventory and ordering process for medical/behavioral health and clerical supplies. Identify, communicate, and coordinate maintenance needs with Operations Leadership and Maintenance staff. Participate in Health Center meetings and events as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or experience: Bachelor's Degree required or graduate of a nursing program with an RN or LPN. Proven, demonstrated expertise in problem solving, priority setting and analytical skills. Minimum of three years comprehensive experience in the medical practice environment with supervisory responsibilities. Language Skills: Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with accounting concepts and develop budget(s). Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Other Skills And Abilities: SUPERVISORY SKILLS: strong training and coaching skills DEPENDABILITY AND RELIABILITY: Performs all duties and assignments whether or not supervision is present. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 35 pounds of weight. Travel Requirement: To fulfill the responsibility of the position travel to all COMC locations will be required. Employee should have a valid Missouri driver's license. Overnight travel may also be required in specific areas of training, conferences, etc. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
