Archery Coach
The Archery Coach will assist in all tasks of the Archery Club. Responsibilities include club paperwork, lesson plans, child safety, equipment maintenance and attendance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: AC will be paid an hourly wage and will punch a time clock to tabulate the hours. AC will work during scheduled Archery Club class hours. AC will instruct Archery classes. AC will be responsible for the well-being and safety of each child and adult in the Archery Club. AC will be responsible for Club paperwork, including but not limited to attendance, lesson plans, and group management. AC will assist in the general cleanliness of the Archery Range and all of its equipment. AC will assist in inventory and ordering supplies. AC will be responsible for adhering to all State of Connecticut regulations, as they are required through the Camp License and other Licensing bodies. AC will be responsible for maintaining a USA Archery membership as well as all pertinent certifications. AC will perform other duties as requested by the Archery and Sports Directors. Follow and implement all HEPA policies and standards in all YMCA programs. Job responsibilities include access to protected health information. The employee may access protected health information (PHI) only to the extent that it is necessary for job requirements. May only share PHI with those who have a need to know specific member/participant/employee information in order to complete job responsibilities related to the individuals participation, payment or company operations. Is expected to complete required HIPAA privacy training and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times. The Archery Coach has access to protected health information (PHI) of Y program participants. The Archery Coach may use and disclose PHI to workforce members for the purpose of treatment, payment and operations only. Actively participates in and upholds the YMCAs mission to be open and accessible to everyone, regardless of financial situation or special need. Contributes time to raise funds for this worthy and necessary endeavor by supporting the Ys Annual Giving and Capital Development campaigns. YMCA COMPETENCIES (Leader): Mission Advancement:
