In addition, will perform all CT procedures. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Participates in on-call rotation. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Acts as supervisor for CT, coordinating patient and staff schedules, maintaining QI/QC, modality meetings, and equipment maintenance. Assists radiologists in developing and implementing protocols and processes in CT. Maintains the flow of work for patients, technologists, and students. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. The value you'll bring to the team: Assures patient care is monitored and appropriately documented, order completion, patient education, and referral for follow-up care, both in the medical records and logs, as indicated. Assures medical records are maintained with respect to patient confidentiality, security and completeness. Assures personnel are scheduled to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation using flexible staffing when appropriate. Works with Scheduling to ensure availability and quality of service. Assures accurate time and attendance records are kept and reported in a timely manner. Evaluate staff on a daily basis to ensure that they are providing Excellent Customer Service and supporting a favorable Patient Experience. Schedules and performs interviews for approved Radiology positions, making recommendations for hiring as needed. Participates in the recruitment, responsible for selection of employees, orientation, evaluation and termination of personnel. Documents performance issues. Assists employees in an understanding of performance standards and provides employees with specific, timely, and constructive feedback. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: High School Grad or Equiv Required 3 year work experience Preferred American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT) Required Preferred qualifications: Associate Preferred Bachelor's Preferred Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred Lic Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH) Preferred Physicist-Rad Therapy IEMA (PHYS-RAD) Preferred KY Med Imagin/Rad (KBMIRT) Preferred Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) Preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
