Lakehurst, NJ (On-Site/Office) Duties

You will be managing personnel planning, skills development, staffing strategies, and workforce retention in partnership with Human Capital leadership. You will oversee clerical functions including visitor access control, Naval messaging, OCONUS travel clearance coordination, and Pay Pool administration. You will be leading the workforce initiatives, executing recruitment strategies, tracking end strength, and coordinating educational outreach and internship programs. You will forecast operational needs and ensure proper resource allocation, position management, and process optimization. You will be organizing and facilitating command events, broadcasts, muster drills, and meetings to promote cohesive internal communications. You will provide timely and cost-efficient business operations while aligning administrative support with command priorities. Requirements

Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems. This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101. You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing personnel planning, skills development, staffing strategies, and workforce retention in partnership with Human Capital leadership. Overseeing clerical functions including visitor access control, Naval messaging, OCONUS travel clearance coordination, and Pay Pool administration. Leading workforce initiatives, executing recruitment strategies, tracking end strength, and coordinating educational outreach and internship programs. Forecasting operational needs and ensure proper resource allocation, position management, and process optimization. Providing timely and cost-efficient business operations while aligning administrative support with command priorities.
