Condado Collection Overview
The Condado Collection is a collection of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico, ranging from classic and modern luxury hotels to restaurants and entertainment. La Concha Resort is a modern luxury resort in Condado, Puerto Rico with a history since 1958. Representing the fun "Latino Chic" lifestyle, it offers elegant amenities and a popular nightlife to all guests. Our goal is to create experiences and inspire journeys not only for our guests, but also for our workforce. Responsible for receiving guest orders over the phone, entering the orders accurately in the POS system, and coordinating with kitchen and delivery staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Answer room service calls promptly and courteously. Provide information about the menu, recommendations, and suggest additional products to enhance the guest experience. Communicate special requests and dietary needs to the kitchen staff. Monitor and follow up on the status of orders to ensure timely delivery. Handle guest complaints or concerns efficiently, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary. Maintain accurate records of all room service transactions. Ensure that the room service area is clean, organized, and equipped with the necessary supplies. Assist with inventory control and restocking when needed. Comply with hotel policies and procedures. Participate in training sessions and team meetings. Prepare and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the room service area and the restaurant. Anticipate and communicate the need for restocking supplies. Complete designated cash reports, resolve any discrepancies, deliver receipts, and secure the cash. Perform closing duties. Be prepared to answer guest questions about the menu directly and concisely. Ensure that the uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Follow all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals, listen to and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure compliance with the expectations and quality standards. Perform other tasks assigned by the manager. Qualifications
Hospitality service oriented Knowledge of service steps Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand, walk, and carry objects for long periods of time Ability to handle difficult situations effectively Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure Willing and able to perform basic cleaning tasks Excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and commitment to providing exceptional guest service Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant is preferred Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) The Condado Collection is an equal opportunity employer.
