Top Secret/SCI Warfare Systems Position
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies. Essential Job Responsibilities: Analyzes system level and Systems of Systems (SoS) level requirements. Works with the project stakeholders and end-users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document the requirements for a system to solve a business problem. Documents, analyzes, and reviews software requirements for a large software development team responsible for development, test, installation, customer interface for applications supporting the classification of data and documents. Interfaces with stakeholders to assess and understand the requirements to ensure end-user stories are consistent and applicable across products. Oversees functional and non-functional requirements for multiple products within the project team. Manages and verifies requirements, captures detailed descriptions of user needs and product functionality, and ensures the project team has clear, consistent, and testable requirements documented in user stories and completion criteria. Reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into the appropriate level of detail for team members, and participates in peer reviews of requirements documentation. Minimum Qualifications: 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Effective oral and written communication abilities Preferred Requirements: Experience working in defense or intelligence environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Security+, PMP) Together we are working to ensure a future where everyone can be free and thrive.
