Student Life Manager

The Student Life Manager will report to the Student Life Director. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Student Life Manager will be responsible for the following duties: Collaborate with the Student Life Director to manage a program serving 20,000+ graduate and undergraduate students and more than 1400 faculty members Manage responses to allegations of academic and behavioral misconduct through the discipline process and adjudicate cases Manage Faculty-Student Disciplinary Committee Hearings and participate in Title IX investigations Manage the review, update, and implementation of the code of student conduct in collaboration with appropriate faculty, staff, and students Contribute to the development and implementation of conduct-related matters at the Residence Hall Develop training for students and staff to increase awareness of conduct-related policies and procedures Contribute to identifying operational goals and objectives, as well as areas for assessment Serve on various college/CUNY committees Manage and administer training and compliance programs Liaise and consult with Office of Advising, Counseling & Wellness, Athletics, and Office of Accessibility as needed Serve on the Student Care Team Collaborate and consult with members of the larger Hunter College community including, Faculty, Non-teaching instructional staff, and administration Contribute to the selection and training of Faculty Student Disciplinary Committee (FSDC) members Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and six years related experience required. Preferred qualifications include: Advanced degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, Law, or related field Experience in, and understanding of, FERPA, Clery, and other laws pertaining to student judicial affairs Experience and comfort working in a dynamic, urban, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise superior judgement and discretion CUNY Title Overview: Manages the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of student programs and quality of life issues, promoting the personal development of a diverse student population. Evaluates student needs and trends to develop a range of student services. Develops and administers specific programs and general activities in support of student needs. Develops relationships with college departments and outside community organizations to understand student needs and available development opportunities. Represents the College in campus-wide and university-wide groups and councils focusing on priority student issues. Manages staff, fiscal resources, and facilities supporting student affairs activities. Performs related duties as assigned. Compensation and Benefits

Salary commensurate with education and experience, $79,188 - $93,491.
