Actalent Lead the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and instrumentation for new equipment and upgrades. Interpret complex electrical and P&ID schematics to support system modifications and enhancements. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for critical electrical and control systems. Mentor and support junior technicians in troubleshooting and best practices. Collaborate with Engineering and Process Control teams to improve process automation and reliability. Work directly with vendors and contractors on equipment calibration, technical issues, and project execution. Ensure strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards, including arc flash safety and hazardous area classifications.

Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems; Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of hands-on experience in an E&I role within a heavy industrial or chemical manufacturing environment. Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems). Strong understanding of industrial electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E) and instrumentation standards (ISA). Experience with calibration tools, loop checks, and test equipment.

Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
