Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility (CE), or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) in Bilingual/Bicultural Education. Valid teaching certificate in the appropriate subject issued by the New Jersey Department of Education. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties. Basic Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and implement instructional plans tailored to students' needs. Evaluate student progress and prepare reports. Instruct students in citizenship, communication skills, and core curriculum elements. Provide individual and group instruction to accommodate varying abilities. Maintain classroom standards and manage student behavior. Select and requisition instructional materials and maintain inventory. Participate in professional development activities. Supervise out-of-class activities as required. Coordinate work with aides and paraprofessionals. Communicate with parents and support staff regarding student progress. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Reports to:
