The Development Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing engineering support on electrical interconnection and early design development of gas, battery storage, solar, and data center projects. The manager will act as the technical liaison between various teams and manage external firms for interconnection-related work. The role also involves providing engineering support for new projects, developing project management practices, and collaborating with multiple departments to identify opportunities and develop projects aligned with corporate goals. Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise on electrical systems and interconnection processes. Lead research and development of new processes, tools, and techniques. Manage complex projects and coordinate work across teams. Develop and implement project management best practices. Collaborate with Power Operations and other departments to improve processes. Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably Master’s Degree. 8-10+ years of relevant project management and engineering experience. Experience with interconnection processes with ISOs and Transmission Owners. Knowledge of electrical schematics, high voltage systems, and electrical design for power plants and data centers. Proficiency in ETAP software; knowledge of PSS/E and ASPEN is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Additional Information:
