About this opportunity: Life-Assist, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to enhance our IT team. This role involves shaping and maintaining our website's functionality, performance, and scalability. Reporting to the Director of IT and collaborating with the lead developer, the engineer will interpret design concepts, propose solutions, and lead development efforts aligned with business and marketing goals.
The candidate will work closely with the Marketing team, implementing visual designs, evaluating feasibility, and creating high-performing user experiences. Technologies involved include C# ASP.Net MVC, MS-SQL, React, and Tailwind. Responsibilities also include SEO, performance optimization, modernizing legacy code, and collaborating with developers.
Ideal candidate qualities:
Demonstrable SQL knowledge, C#/.NET coding skills, and front-end development experience.
Proactive, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently.
Strong team communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to understand how solutions fit within the larger system.
Attention to detail and thoroughness.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities include:
Develop scalable, responsive web solutions based on Adobe XD designs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate designs into functional features.
Lead website updates from front-end to back-end, ensuring performance, accessibility, and security.
Implement front-end solutions using Razor, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, Tailwind, Bootstrap, and CSS.
Resolve help desk tickets, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
Write clean, encapsulated code and address technical debt.
Participate in code reviews and debugging.
Document workflows and system details.
Provide regular updates via project management systems.
Stay current with emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience of 10+ years.
Relevant certifications in IT.
Experience with C#, ASP.Net MVC, MS-SQL, React, and Tailwind.
SQL and object-oriented C#/.NET skills.
Experience with WinForms and Git/Azure DevOps is a plus.
