Subject Matter Expert (SME)
WHO WE ARE:
STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.
STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.
STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team!
Responsibilities: • Independently applies subject matter expertise to various project /program initiatives. Investigates, analyzes, plans, designs, develops, implements or evaluates solutions for project/program efforts. • Provides expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes. • Applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management, modernization planning, and development. Knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, contracting principles, budget/finance/cost estimation principles and methodologies, modernization planning, the Planning, Programming, & Budgeting System (PPBS) and various research and development as applicable to individual Task Orders. • Specialized expertise may include, but is not limited to, the following functional and or cross-functional areas: logistics, maintenance, supply, financial management, security management, information management and contracting.
Qualifications:
Minimum/General Experience:
Possesses knowledge with DOD enterprise systems related to transportation and shipping procedures, financial analysis of budgeting and execution data, Defense Financial and Accounting Services (DFAS) financial systems, and Third Party Payment System (TPPS) or similar systems. Expert knowledge of systems that support the Logistics Tools Suite or other similar systems.
Minimum Education:
Minimum requirement is a Masters degree in the relevant Technical or Functional field, 12 years of management and strategy consulting experience. Five (5) years of business and technology leadership. A Bachelor's degree plus two (2) additional years of experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
