GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ENR - Enrollment Services department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
The Enrollment Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive enrollment services to students at Greenville Technical College. This position involves managing various aspects of the enrollment process including admissions, tier 1 level financial aid questions student records data entry, and transcript evaluation, onboarding. The primary goal is to ensure a seamless and student-centered enrollment experience for all prospective, new, returning, and current students.
Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Entering, updating, and verifying student or client information in relevant systems.
Application Processing: Assisting with the processing of applications, including scanning, uploading, and tracking documents.
Communication: Responding to inquiries from applicants, providing information about the enrollment process, and addressing any questions or concerns.
Eligibility Verification: Verifying eligibility for programs, services, or benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
Record Maintenance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of enrollment information.
Coordination: Collaborating with other departments, such as admissions, financial aid, or billing, to ensure seamless enrollment.
Quality Assurance: Auditing application files for data consistency and completeness.
Reporting: Generating reports related to enrollment data and progress.
Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the enrollment process and contributing to optimization efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institutionTwo or more years of experience in admissions, financial aid, records/registration, or student support services in a higher education settingExperience using a Student Information System (e.g., Ellucian Colleague, Banner, or Anthology)Bilingual (Spanish/English or other languages relevant to the student population)Knowledge of FERPA regulations and general college enrollment policies and proceduresStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems efficiently
