Overview
The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience, from initial exam and treatment plan to care delivery. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Responsibilities
Promote oral health and disease prevention
Diagnose oral diseases
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
Create and review treatment plans
Maintain and update patient records
Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
Provide restorative and preventive care
Perform surgical procedures
Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism
Stay updated with new developments through ongoing education
Qualifications
DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
Current state dental license
Hepatitis B vaccination documentation
Malpractice insurance proof
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
