Our servers provide prompt and courteous food service to our guests. Responsibilities
The responsibilities include: Greeting and taking food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests. Creating milkshakes. Running food and bussing tables. Remaining attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience. Completing all restocking and cleaning duties. Memorizing menu items, recipes and daily specials. Maintaining cleanliness standards. Controlling allocated guest checks. Receiving proper payment from guests. Attending all pre-meal and departmental meetings. Responding to customer inquiries. Presenting a clean and professional appearance. Maintaining a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications
The qualifications include: High school education or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar position of 3 months or longer. Basic knowledge of customer service principles, the food server function and restaurant and kitchen operations. Standard cash-handling procedures. Fluency in oral and written English. Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, written instructions and to observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions. Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages. Physical Demands
The physical demands include: Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 lbs. Balancing, stooping kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching handling, fingering. Mobility -full range of mobility and the ability to travel up to 300 feet on a regular basis. Continuous standing. Moderate hearing. Excellent vision. Moderate comprehension and literacy. Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time. High organization and attention to sound and sight details. Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with customer service problems. Environment
The environment is physically strenuous with prolonged standing, walking, lifting and carrying throughout the entire shift in an indoor environment. Employer will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner with the local ordinance. EOE Benefits
