Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Incumbent will develop a comprehensive hand program for UMC and LSUHSC , and will participate in resident education and research efforts for LSU Orthopaedics. Additional Position Information Minimum Qualifications Required Education Required Education MD or equivalent If Other Required Education, please specify If Other Required Education, please specify Graduate of an accredited orthopaedic hand fellowship before hire date Certifications/Licenses Required Certifications/Licenses Required BC/BE (or equivalent) in orthopaedics; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before date of hire Indicate the minimum number of years required to do the job Indicate the type of experience required to do the job Indicate the type of experience required to do the job Strong clinical expertise in the full spectrum of hand surgery, including microsurgery and complex reconstructions.
