Job Summary: The Community Program Manager plays a central role in developing and executing content strategies that drive year-round engagement across ASUG’s strategic topics and member communities. Reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, this role curates and creates high-impact content, facilitates strategic programming, and serves as a key liaison with member volunteers and SAP points of contact (POCs). With a strong foundation in education and curriculum design, the Community Program Manager helps simplify complex enterprise technology topics to meet the evolving needs of business and IT professionals. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Content Development Develop and maintain content strategies for assigned communities and strategic topics. Design curriculum maps that align with delivery channels including events, collections, and web content. Lead the creation of content collections, and supplemental materials tailored to key personas and strategic themes. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, research, editorial) to align messaging and delivery. Community Programming Leadership Lead and support virtual programming for 5+ strategic communities. Facilitate strategy planning sessions with SAP POCs and member volunteers. Identify learning objectives and source speakers for Community Conversations and AMAs. Create abstracts, discussion flows, and supplementary content to enrich programming. Content Collection Management Curate and maintain five Content Collections as a member-exclusive benefit. Source content through audits, internal collaboration, and SME input. Produce and repurpose articles, infographics, and other digital assets to support collection themes. Stakeholder & Volunteer Engagement Serve as a primary point of contact for community volunteers and SAP ecosystem stakeholders. Coordinate topic and speaker outreach, confirmations, and follow-up for all programming. Maintain consistent communication to support collaborative planning and feedback cycles. Qualifications: • 7–10 years of experience in content strategy, education, instructional design, or program management, preferably in a tech or association setting • Strong project management and curriculum development skills • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics and design content for a professional audience • Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Proficiency with platforms such as Craft LMS, Monday.com, ON24, and Microsoft 365 • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field Success Metrics Member engagement with content collections (views, downloads, time on page) Session registration and attendance for community events Quality and consistency of speaker participation Feedback from members, POCs, SMEs, and internal stakeholders Collaboration & Stakeholders Frequent collaboration with: SAP points of contact (POCs) Community volunteers and speakers ASUG’s marketing, editorial, and events teams Internal product and research stakeholders Why ASUG?
