$172,000.00/yr - $202,000.00/yr A leading insurance carrier is looking to hire an
AVP, Claims Manager - Professional Liability.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 claims professionals handling mid to complex professional liability claims (including Legal E&O, MPL and D&O cases) Along with driving performance of the team, you will be a technical referral point for complex claims, coverage and litigation matters within PL.
Job Requirements.
5+ years leadership experience within professional liability claims (due to the mixed PL caseload we can consider E&O, D&O and other PL claims leadership/technical backgrounds) Experience with Legal E&O, FI and Private D&O claims highly beneficial The ability to drive performance and grow a claims team, including managing JD law qualified senior claims examiners Extensive exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential - including large loss PL policies Experience working closely with Legal/ Claims Counsel and other internal / external teams JD Law - essential to be considered This position must be on a hybrid schedule from NYC or NJ with an excellent base salary up to $202,000 + 20% annual bonus. The role has an excellent route of progression to senior leadership (VP/SVP). Please note we cannot consider remote candidates or other offices for this position. Seniority level
