The role involves architecting, designing, and building scalable solutions on the AWS platform while collaborating with startup customers to align technical requirements with business objectives. Responsibilities: • Work closely with startup customers to understand their technical requirements, business objectives, and growth plans, and then architect AWS-based solutions that align with their goals. • Lead technical discussions, present best practices, and guide startups on AWS architecture, services, and solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Support to provide comprehensive solutions to startups, addressing their specific needs and driving successful outcomes. • Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures to showcase the value of AWS services and demonstrate their potential impact on the customer's business. • Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation. • Participate in workshops, webinars, and events to evangelize AWS solutions for startups and contribute to the growth of the AWS startup ecosystem. Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience • 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience Preferred: • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries • Experience with AWS technologies • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Company: Launched in 2006, Amazon Web Services (AWS) began exposing key infrastructure services to businesses in the form of web services -- now widely known as cloud computing.
