Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Solutions Architect within our Financial Services Industry Go-To-Market Solutions Architecture Team. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated technologist with a unique blend of industry knowledge, technical expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills. As a Senior Solutions Architect for AWS Financial Services, your role will involve collaborating with some of the largest financial services companies, AWS Sales, and various AWS teams to design and implement highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve complex industry business challenges while accelerating the adoption of AWS services. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the broader Financial Services team to develop technical strategies aimed at driving AWS adoption across the industry. Establish technical credibility during sales cycles by engaging in deep architectural discussions with Financial Services customers and partners. Educate a diverse range of customers about the value proposition of AWS in Financial Services. Capture and share best practices among the AWS Solutions Architect community. Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications like whitepapers and reference architectures. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders to promote cloud advocacy. Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS service engineering teams. Architect solutions leveraging AWS technology, conducting proof-of-concepts and prototypes as necessary. Our Ideal Candidate: Has at least 5 years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or infrastructure. Possesses 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing applications and infrastructures. Brings 7+ years of IT development or implementation experience in software or internet industries. Has demonstrated expertise within Financial Services, offering insights into architectural and technical needs. Is familiar with AWS services, market segments, industry verticals, and cloud architecture best practices. Travel may be required for this role, up to 25%.
