This position requires you to be on-site five days a week and you must hold an active TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include: Developing and managing Kubernetes environments on AWS for containerized applications. Implementing infrastructure as code, ensuring security, and managing DevOps practices for AWS resources. Facilitating CI/CD integration and overseeing application lifecycle management. Optimizing system performance, troubleshooting networking issues, and ensuring stringent system security. Minimum qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance. Over 6 years of experience in AWS and DevOps engineering with a focus on Kubernetes. Proven experience or training in system administration concerning workloads on AWS, specifically with Amazon EKS, and supporting development and testing teams. At least 5 years of experience with containerized platforms. Strong scripting skills, with practical experience in CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration. IAT Level II certification. Kubernetes CKA certification and/or training, alongside two of the following certifications (three years of relevant experience may substitute each certification): AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or training AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training Preferred Skills and Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training. AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training. This role is based in San Antonio, Texas.
