UX / UI Product Designer - AI Startup - SaaS UX / UI Product Designer - AI Startup - SaaS This role is highly impactful and also acts as a product manager lead Seed Stage 3M venture backed, first design and product hire 0.5% equity About Adapt Adapt delivers an AI-powered analytics platform that unifies every data source—databases, SaaS tools, documents, tickets—into a single conversational interface. Our autonomous agents proactively surface anomalies, diagnose root causes, and recommend next steps, empowering teams to act on mission-critical insights without writing SQL or toggling dashboards. Role Overview We’re seeking a Product Designer to drive the user experience and visual design of Adapt’s web and chat interfaces. You will partner directly with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups—ensuring clarity, consistency, and usability across our platform. Responsibilities Conduct stakeholder and user interviews to validate workflows and pain points Define user journeys and information architecture for conversational queries, anomaly alerts, and scheduled reports Wireframing & Prototyping Create low- to mid-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes (Figma) to iterate quickly on interaction flows Test prototypes with end users, synthesize feedback, and refine designs Visual & Interaction Design Produce polished, high-fidelity mockups that align with our design system and brand guidelines Design component patterns for chat messages, data visualizations, tables, forms, and notification modals Design System Maintenance Document and maintain a scalable component library (tokens, styles, assets) in Figma Ensure consistency and accessibility (WCAG AA) across all interface elements Work closely with engineers to translate designs into production-ready specifications, including redlines and assets Participate in sprint planning and design reviews to resolve implementation questions What You Bring 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or analytics platforms Proven track record building conversational or data-heavy interfaces Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design and prototyping tools) Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end process : research, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI Solid understanding of UX best practices, responsive design, and accessibility standards Ability to work independently, manage time across multiple priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines Why This Matters Your designs will shape how executives, analysts, and engineers interact with AI-driven insights at scale.
