Up to $4000 sign-on bonus!
Participate as a team member in the delivery of substance-use disorder services to adult clients and their families. Facilitate the issues of recovery into clients daily living situations. Provide program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. This Addiction Counselor position will run a morning Intensive Outpatient Group for Adult clients with a primary Substance Use Disorder.
Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or other related field, preferred
Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132
Bachelors in related degree or equivalent experience and training, required
Illinois Certified Addiction Counselor (CADC),or licensed in Illinois as a LSW or LPC which supersedes the CADC within 2 years of employment in substance used disorder services.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills,
Computer proficiency required,
Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record,
Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling,
Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources,
Self-starter with ability to work independently,
Ability to work within a team,
Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance
Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials
Starting rate for Bachelors - $21.11/hour
Starting rate for Masters - $24.44/hour
CADC - $.50/hour
Additional pay available for staff who exceed the average daily attendance of clients for the entire month
Schedule: 10 hour shifts
Monday-Thursday 8 am
