Helping Hand, a mission-driven nonprofit empowering individuals with disabilities, is hiring a skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to the CEO. This isn't just another admin role, it is your launchpad to an Executive Assistant position!
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Administrative Assistant to the CEO plays a vital role in supporting the dialy operations and strategic priorities of the CEO and, as assigned, other Executive Team members. As a trusted partner, this role ensures effective time management, clear communication, and seamless coordination of tasks and priorities. The Administrative Assistant to the CEO provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the organization in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION: On-site position, weekdays,40 hours per week Salary range $55,000-$58,000/year (Salary/Exempt). Salary based on skills and experience. Up to 8% annual bonus potential 403b retirement plan with up to a 4% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Be the CEO's right hand and serve as the primary administrative partner by managingcalendars, priorities, and sensitive communications. Lead the planning and coordination of Board meetings, internal events, donor-related functions, and high-level projects. Keep everything organized with sharp documentation and smooth logistics. Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain policy and Board documentation. Support the Executive Team as needed. Handle confidential matters with professionalism and poise. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associates or Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as an administrative assistant/office assistant.
Skill Sets: Strong Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Exceptional organization, communication, and time management. Ability to work with discretion, adaptability, and a mission-first mindset. Ability to promote and adhere to company values. A commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment. Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of personal motor vehicle insurance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The person in this position needs to occasionally move about to assist others, access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The ability to observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer). Consistently position self to maintain files in file cabinets or assist others. The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
