Bungie is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer with experience in a variety of network and system technologies to join our fast-paced industry-leading team. As a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer at Bungie, you will design, implement, and support technology solutions for our studio and datacenter operations, global partner integrations and customer-facing production systems. You will work with internal business partners to support the strategy of networking and infrastructure platforms across Bungie. Responsibilities include Linux & Windows fleet management and design, supporting customer-facing datacenter infrastructure and compute; research, selection, planning, and implementation of new technologies to support scaling of solutions; infrastructure lifecycle management for studio and production environments; critical build and development system design and support; collaboration with InfoSec teams to ensure infrastructure and designs align with security requirements; administration and maintenance of VMware virtualization environments; troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues; assisting with training for IT Support and LiveOps teams; developing tools and scripts for routine maintenance; supporting related products and triaging issues; creating and updating technical documentation; providing after-hours escalation assistance. Required skills include ability to design and engineer environments at scale, compute and networking at scale, datacenter fleet management, experience in live high availability customer facing production environments, project collaboration, understanding of virtualized environments in VMware, working knowledge of core Internet protocols and services, and ability to work independently to solve problems. Nice-to-have skills include network troubleshooting, OSPF, IPSEC, BGP, VRRP, VXLan, iSCSI, RAID, AWS administration, configuration/automation tools, storage environment design, and Active Directory protocols. The role offers a Bellevue pay range of $151,000 - $172,000 USD with adjustments for other approved remote locations. Bungie promotes a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace and encourages applications even if all qualifications are not met.
