Lead innovative new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
Maintain direct contacts at regulatory agencies in the US and around the globe, collaborating on technical subjects related to advancing the science of aerosol measurements.
Manage sustaining engineering activities, including design improvements, issue resolution, regulatory compliance, and product lifecycle support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and marketing to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Guide root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field issues and performance optimization.
Translate customer, regulatory and market needs into actionable engineering requirements and specifications.
Stay informed of scientific advancements, regulatory trends, and competitive technologies to inform product strategy and innovation.
Qualifications: PhD in Aerosol Science, Applied Physics, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in analytical instrumentation, aerosol science, or environmental monitoring.
Demonstrated expertise in particle measurement technologies and/or sensor systems is strongly preferred.
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and a systems-level engineering perspective.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with regulated industries (e.g., environmental, industrial hygiene, pharmaceutical) is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position will involve repetitive work utilizing a computer, keyboard, and mouse 90% of the time.
The position will require frequent sitting, reaching, reading, looking, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, turning, twisting.
Salary Range: $141,900.00-$189,200.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
