You will be the Life Support Analyst on the Flight Operations team. In this position, the employee will perform day-to-day maintenance, inspection, test, and repairs of F-35 and F-16 aircrew flight equipment (AFE). What you will be doing includes: Maintain, inspect, and repair helmet mounted display (HMD/JHMCS) and standard fighter aircraft helmets, oxygen masks, and related electronic communication devices, helmet mounted night vision devices, G-suits, parachute harnesses, anti-exposure suits, flotation devices, and survival equipment. Instruct and train aircrew on ejection seat egress, survival techniques, and life support equipment. Utilize sewing machine for maintenance, repair, and fabrication of aircrew flight equipment (AFE) and related equipment. Maintain tech publications and aircrew records. Travel internationally to support flight operations F-35 production FACO facilities. Integrate with engineering in support of new and current AFE projects and initiatives. Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Pay rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
