We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Power Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in circuit design, analog instrumentation, feedback/control systems, and/or power system architecture and grounding. You will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing analog and power electronics systems for cutting-edge applications. This is a 3 month contract to hire, ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required. Responsibilities: Analog & Power Circuit Design: Develop and optimize analog and power electronic circuits, including amplifiers, voltage regulators, power converters, and precision measurement circuits. Feedback & Control Systems: Design and implement control loops for power regulation, stability analysis, and transient response optimization. Instrumentation & Sensor Interfaces: Design analog front-end circuits for precision instrumentation, including signal conditioning and low-noise amplifiers. Power System Architecture & Grounding: Define and implement power distribution strategies, grounding techniques, and noise mitigation approaches for reliable system operation. Simulation & Analysis: Use tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or similar software for circuit simulation, modeling, and analysis. Testing & Validation: Develop test plans, perform laboratory measurements, and troubleshoot designs to ensure performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with firmware, PCB layout, mechanical, and system engineers to ensure seamless product integration. Compliance & Safety: Ensure designs meet regulatory and industry standards for EMI/EMC, thermal management, and electrical safety. $40 - $53 an hour
