Connected Health Care is partnering with a highly respected healthcare facility near Andover, Kansas to recruit a compassionate and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) . This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a modern surgical environment with a collaborative and supportive team.
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist with patient preparation, including preoperative assessments and post-anesthesia care
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout the perioperative process
- Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and prepared
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff
- Maintain a sterile and safe operating room environment
- Educate patients and families on surgical expectations and post-op care
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of perioperative or OR nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills
