We're working with a small, high-impact consulting firm based in Chicago that's leading complex SAP transformations for clients across North America. This hybrid position is for a full-time SAP Functional Solution Architect with a focus on Finance (FI/CO) and S/4HANA migrations. You'll work closely with business and technology leaders to drive successful transitions from SAP ECC to S/4HANA-making a lasting difference in how finance functions operate and scale.

This role puts you at the center of CFO-level strategic transformation. You'll be the bridge between business and IT-guiding clients through high-stakes finance modernization. Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience

2+ full-cycle SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations in a lead architect role

Hands-on experience with:

Universal Journal (ACDOCA) New Asset Accounting Margin Analysis (CO-PA) Material Ledger New GL, Segment Reporting, and Parallel Accounting

Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology

Ability to communicate effectively with CFOs, Controllers, and senior finance stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related technical field

Desired Skills & Experience

Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (U.S., Canada, Mexico preferred)

Experience integrating SAP with consolidation, planning, and forecasting tools (EMP)

Cross-functional SAP module knowledge (e.g., MM, SD, WM)

Experience in data migration, cutover planning, and audit compliance

Open-minded approach to SAP best practices and third-party tools
