Job Description EviCore Software Engineers build and advance technologies and products that are leveraged across the organization and healthcare. Through our advanced platform, EviCore is shaping the future of Utilization Management. We are looking for engineers enthusiastic about solving problems across the full stack as we continue to push innovation. We are looking for engineers to be versatile, display a passion for leadership and challenge the status quo. In this role you will deliver solutions that align to the end user as a member of a highly autonomous Scrum Team. You will help create solutions and deliver backlog items in support of a multi-data center, active-active, event-driven platform that is backed by Kafka. Primary Responsibilities: Build modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications. - Bring Engineering discipline to design and problem solve - Evangelize best practices - End-User Focus. - Collaborate with peers to deliver quality technology.
Required Experience: • Bachelor in Computer Science, related field preferred, or certification from a respected professional software school • 4-6+ years of Software Development Experience in an Agile environment, Waterfall or hybrid environment • 4-6+ years of background in software development in Dot Net Framework • Good knowledge of C# and its core features, including object-oriented concepts, data structures, and algorithms • Proficiency in SQL querying and database design to interact with relational databases like SQL Server. • Ability to build dynamic web applications using ASP.NET MVC, WCF, or Web API frameworks to create RESTful services. • Experience in Cloud Development such as Azure and IaC tools such as Terraform • Experience in build deployment through CI/CD on Azure DevOps • Exposure to SOLID, Architectural Patterns, Development Best Practices, Test Driven Development, and use of mocking frameworks • Experience writing unit and integration tests and effectively troubleshooting application issues. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and data processing. • Security Engineering knowledge or familiarity with OWASP principles is a plus • Must have the capability and desire to mentor others as well as be willing to learn from other mentors • Experience in collaborate with cross-functional teams in troubleshooting issues and working on new projects • Experience receiving client calls and troubleshooting IT issues or questions • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
