Primary Focus: Platform & Infrastructure We are seeking a skilled Applications Architect to design, implement, and lead the development of the foundation of our analytics platform. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a robust, scalable infrastructure and associated applications that supports our data analytics applications across multiple deployment scenarios, from air-gapped local systems to cloud environments. You will evaluate and implement appropriate architectural approaches based on our specific needs. You'll work closely with other software developers, data engineers, and systems engineers to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of our application portfolio. Responsibilities Design and implement the application and infrastructure architecture for our analytics platform through evaluation of various approaches (containerized, monolithic, microservices, layered, etc.) Create and maintain deployment configurations for multiple environments (on-premise, air-gapped, cloud) Establish reliable deployment and update processes Collaborate with others to design and manage networking, security, and resource allocation for the platform Design scalable solutions that can adapt to the target environments Design and manage implementation of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems Optimize platform performance and resource utilization Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities Collaborate with others on integration architecture Document application infrastructure components, configurations, and procedures Research and evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches Troubleshoot and resolve related issues Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 7+ years of experience with application design, solutions architecture, and infrastructure design Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes) Experience with Windows Server environments and .NET framework Experience with on-prem applications and platform architecture is a must Knowledge of modern application architectures (containerization, microservices, monolithic) in both local and cloud environments Experience in infrastructure as code and automation tools Strong understanding of networking concepts and security practices Experience with monitoring and logging solutions Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools Experience with resource optimization and scaling Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Experience with industrial or manufacturing environments and time-series data is a highly valued Programming proficiency in preferably multiple relevant languages ( Python, C++, C, .NET, JavaScript/Typescript, etc.) Apply Today To Be Part Of What's Next.
