Job Summary and Qualifications
This position serves as Application Engineer for the TheraDoc infection prevention application. The application is used by Infection Control Practitioners in HCA facilities to track and report on hospital acquired infections. In addition, the application provides rollup infection reporting to division and corporate infection prevention and quality control staff. In addition, the application serves as the Enterprise Reporting Tool for the eCR Regulatory Reporting (Replacement of Meaningful Use). This application is a Third Party Application and as Application Engineer this role will monitor to ensure that the Application is functioning as designed. The skill requirements are outlined below. General Responsibilities
80% Provide TheraDoc System administration application support. 20% Develop and maintain automation applications. Provide TheraDoc application system administration support. Provide ongoing maintenance of complex disaster recovery processes. Provide ongoing maintenance of system monitoring tools and processes. Provide ongoing maintenance and support of the appropriate batch job schedule using enterprise job scheduling tools. Provide ongoing maintenance and support of all Data Integration tools i.e. HL-7 Interface development and some Batch processing. Proficient with support of Microsoft Windows operating system. Identify and address operational systems issues. Experience with ColdFusion a plus. Proficient with Database structures ORACLE. Develop and maintain automation applications. Proficient with automation / scripting development languages such as Windows Batch / PowerShell. Experience with SQL. Thoroughly unit test applications. Write technical specs for applications. Look for ways to improve existing applications and processes. Actively participate in meetings. Understand entire application and how pieces fit together. Able to build strong relationships and communicate with technical staff and business analysts. Must be able to work well in a fast-paced multi-tasking team environment. Able to accomplish simple, moderate, and complex Troubleshooting tasks without assistance. Actively participate in meetings. Have a strong professional work ethic. Experience:
SQL (on ORACLE preferred) - Necessary. Windows Server a plus. Document management. Knowledge of HL-7 Interfaces a plus. Knowledge of MIRTH - HL 7 moving tool- a plus. Powershell Programming a Plus. Agile development team environment. Strong Troubleshooting Skills a Plus. FHIR. Cloverleaf experience preferred. Relevant Work Experience:
