We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with intermediate experience in system design and distributed systems. This role involves working closely with a diverse team of engineers to design, implement, and review software solutions to automate network infrastructure lifecycle operations at scale across Salesforce’s physical data center footprint. Key Responsibilities: Develop resilient closed loop infrastructure automation to ensure our customers experience the highest levels of availability. Participate in the design and implementation of services/features with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Translate business vision and architecture into well-engineered solutions that best leverage our platforms and products. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and overall code quality. Work closely with partner teams, architect, and product owners to implement solutions that leverage distributed computing principles and technologies. Collaborate effectively to ensure alignment between architectural decisions and project objectives. Thrive in a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Software Engineer Intermediate knowledge of programming and technical fluency with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Java, Ruby, Python Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong sense of ownership. Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate proficiency in the Golang programming language. Working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and switch/router/load balancer functions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
