Location Chicago, Illinois Position Overview The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will join a dynamic clinical service specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic radiology, including chest radiography, chest and cardiac CT (including coronary CTA), and thoracic and cardiovascular MR (including stress perfusion CMR). Responsibilities
Participate in a large lung cancer screening program and manage patients from across the Northwestern Medicine system. Contribute to a hospital with a significant lung transplant population. Engage in high-volume cardiovascular MR services, recognized internationally for excellence. Collaborate across disciplines including cardiology, surgery, pulmonology, and oncology. Contribute to educational programs, including a cardiovascular imaging fellowship and a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship. Qualifications
MD degree with training in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging. Strong motivation for academic development. High emotional intelligence, interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, and teamwork experience. Additional Details The start date is negotiable, and the position remains open until filled. The base pay range is $410,000 - $460,000, with actual compensation determined based on experience and qualifications. Benefits Northwestern University offers competitive benefits.
