My client is seeking an exceptional Assistant or Associate General Counsel to join our growing legal team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside their General Counsel and also provides a clear progression plan for growth! If you're passionate about combining legal expertise with business strategy in a purpose-driven organization, we want to hear from you. As Assistant General Counsel, you'll be a key advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors, helping to shape the future of a global enterprise. Your responsibilities will include: Advising on legal risks and supporting strategic business initiatives. Providing commercial legal counsel to senior executives and the Board. Leading contract review, negotiation, and drafting. Managing external counsel and overseeing litigation. Supporting M&A activities, including due diligence and negotiations. Advising on employment law and compliance matters. Championing technology and innovation in legal operations. Participating in corporate compliance and policy development. Qualifications: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing with a state bar. 8+ years of legal experience , including at least 2 years in a managerial role, or 10+ years as a corporate/staff attorney. Strong background in
corporate or employment law . Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Seniority level
