A law firm seeks a seasoned Defense Attorney in Boca Raton, Florida, with 21 years of experience in white collar criminal defense and government investigations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background representing clients in high-stakes federal and state matters, and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and enforcement actions.
Duties
Represent individuals and corporations in white collar criminal investigations and prosecutions. Handle matters involving federal and state regulatory agencies, including the DOJ, SEC, and state attorneys general. Advise clients during internal investigations, compliance reviews, and enforcement defense. Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents. Provide strategic counsel during pre-indictment negotiations, trial proceedings, and settlement discussions. Lead case strategy and supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed. Requirements
21 years of experience in litigation with a strong emphasis on white collar crime and government investigations. Proven trial experience and strong advocacy in federal and state courts. Significant experience interacting with regulatory and enforcement bodies. Strong understanding of criminal procedure, evidentiary rules, and compliance frameworks. Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters with discretion and professionalism. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Admission to the Florida State Bar (required). Admission to federal courts, including the Southern District of Florida (preferred). Skills
Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership experience in managing legal teams and case workflows.
