Desirable Qualifications: In addition to evaluating experience quality and breadth, the following factors will be used for competitive evaluation: Practical knowledge of trial and appellate court procedures related to criminal appellate and habeas corpus litigation, investigations, and prosecutions. Leadership ability and supervisory experience. Effective interaction with district attorneys, law enforcement, and other agencies and department members. Experience coordinating legal work for large teams in criminal law. Experience developing criminal law policies in a governmental setting. Knowledge of policies and practices of a criminal prosecution agency.
