WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH This position reports to the Men’s Basketball Apparel Design Director and collaborates with a team working on branded basketball, signature athlete, NBA, and NBA uniform apparel. This role requires experience in developing and managing cross-functional relationships with athletes, graphic designers, product management, merchandising, material/trim development, technical development, and sourcing teams. The candidate must translate consumer and athlete insights into trend-right performance products. The role does not include direct reports. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. 5+ years of relevant experience in a design environment working with materials, trims, design, and fit. Strong foundational design skills, including drawing/sketching and digital illustrations; 3D experience is a plus. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, concept ideation, color theory, and presentation skills to communicate design ideas effectively. Comprehensive understanding of materials, fit, and performance design. Relevant apparel/fashion/design experience, with preference for backgrounds in sport performance and sport style innovation.
