Position Overview Reporting to the Career Center Director, the Associate Director for Career Advising Services serves on the Career Center’s Leadership Team and provides leadership for the Career Advising Team (CAT). CAT consists of 4 Career Development Liaisons who split their time working remotely in the academic colleges and in the Career Center. Under the leadership of the Associate Director, CAT is responsible for developing and delivering programming and customized career advising services to students and alumni based on their affiliated academic colleges. Ensuring that exemplary career services are provided at all times, the Associate Director will work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators in all academic departments and colleges to ensure that students have access to appropriate career development resources and support. In addition, the Associate Director will coordinate career advising services within the Career Center, and will work closely with Employer Relations, Experiential Learning, and Events staff to facilitate opportunities for students to engage with internship and career employers. Career development services provided by the Associate Director and CAT include one-on-one advising, classroom presentations, workshops, career development courses, career assessments, and coordination of events and programs that support student career planning.
