We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Technology to join our leadership team and drive the future of technology at Entrusted. This role exists to architect and execute Entrusted's technology strategyaligning systems, data, and innovation with our mission to restore lives and homes through excellence. This is a high-impact position where you will build scalable, secure platforms, lead a high-performing tech team, and shape the future of automation, software, and infrastructure within a fast-growing organization. Responsibilities
Create and maintain a 3-year technology roadmap aligned with Entrusted's growth goals and core values.
Evaluate emerging tools (AI/LLMs, IoT, field apps) and pilot solutions that enhance efficiency and client experience.
Align all technical initiatives with company mission, service excellence, and team member enablement.
Team Development and Growth
Build, coach, and empower a 47 member technology team with an emphasis on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and implement agile/scrum practices.
Create growth pathways for team members and equip them for future leadership.
Infrastructure, Development, and Security
Design and oversee secure and scalable cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Ensure system reliability (?99.5% uptime), disaster recovery, and cybersecurity compliance.
Lead full-stack software development and system integrations across platforms (ERP, CRM, project management, etc.).
Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization) to ensure stable deployments and releases.
Data, Automation, and AI
Build and maintain data warehouses (Redshift, BigQuery) and dashboards for real-time business intelligence.
Deploy automation and AI/ML models to enhance operational efficiency and predictive decision-making.
Lead innovation initiatives that drive measurable results through integration and workflow optimization.
Operational Excellence
Manage the technology budget and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of solutions.
Own the technology P&L and present roadmaps, risks, and ROI to executive leadership.
Partner with departments to ensure all systems serve and elevate company performance.
Culture and Value Stewardship

Qualifications: Culture fit for Entrusted and alignment with our values and leadership qualities 7+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, or IT leadership 34+ years leading strategic technology initiatives or teams Experience managing cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance Experience integrating ERP (Sage Intacct), CRM (HubSpot), and custom tools Experience building and leading automation, AI/ML, or analytics projects Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or CSM are a plus Experience in high-growth or service-based organizations strongly preferred Experience in a for-profit, fast-paced technology environment is ideal Knowledge: Enterprise architecture, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and DevOps best practices System integration, database design, cybersecurity, and IT compliance AI/ML models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) and automation tooling Deep understanding of ERP/CRM platforms (Sage Intacct, HubSpot) Familiarity with the construction-tech or field-service industry is a bonus Skills: Advanced programming (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript), React, Node.js Agile project management and team leadership Strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation Data analysis and performance tracking Budgeting, vendor negotiation, and cost optimization Strong organizational and operational follow-through Ability to establish scalable, secure, and reliable systems Abilities: Lead and grow a high-performing team through clear vision and coaching Balance technical depth with high-level business strategy Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders Make thoughtful decisions in fast-moving, high-growth environments Serve as a unifying and strategic technical leader within the company Compensation and Benefits: 401k retirement program with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Company-provided life insurance and short/long-term disability Paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and paid paternity/maternity leave Company-paid access to Dave Ramsey's SmartDollar Financial Program (with 1:1 coaching) Gym reimbursement And more Entrusted History: We started with humble beginnings as a small carpet cleaning company in South Florida
