Location: 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95050 (Westfield Valley Fair)
Salary Range: $112,000.00 - 140,000.00 annual base salary

Job Purpose: The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, focusing on front-of-house execution, team leadership, financial performance, and guest satisfaction. The AGM leads and develops the Service and Assistant Service Managers and collaborates with the Bar Manager to ensure a high-quality brand experience.
Responsibilities:
Workforce Management:
Validate FOH schedules, manage employment transactions, coach staff, and develop leadership pipelines.
Recruiting:
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring managerial and non-exempt staff.
Systems:
Ensure operational tasks and guest service standards are maintained.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication of standards, promotions, and operational changes across departments.
Restaurant Planning:
Develop staffing plans, implement strategies to improve guest metrics, and lead operational meetings.
Guest Experience:
Coach staff on service standards, review feedback, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
Technical Skills:
Ensure staff are trained and certified in service and safety protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred
2+ years restaurant management experience in casual or upscale dining
Strong financial acumen
Understanding of full-service dining operations
Ability to stand long periods and lift 20+ lbs
Ability to work in hot/cold temperatures
