$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr We're seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join a fast-growing national real estate developer/GC, helping manage high-profile multifamily construction projects in New Jersey. This is a key opportunity to join a financially strong, stable organization with a proven track record and major growth plans in the NJ region. Our client is a nationally recognized developer and general contractor with active operations across the Northeast region, with New Jersey as their #1 growth priority. Office located in Metuchen, NJ Liquid assets enables the company to self-finance its developments, giving them a major edge in today's high-interest rate environment Recently broke ground on 1,000+ units totaling nearly $300M Strong employee retention - average tenure is 8 years Emphasis on culture, recognition, and long-term employee development Description Project Management:
Support the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion Schedule Management:
Manage subcontractor relationships, track progress, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols Quality Control:
Assist in RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and change order management Team Leadership:
Attend weekly meetings and contribute to internal reporting and client updates Safety Compliance:
Monitor site activity and collaborate with the field team to proactively resolve issues Documentation:
