The Position

Scientist
We are looking for a Clinical Data Scientist to support R&D and PHC clinical studies as part of our team based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain or Indianapolis, in the USA.
The position:
Supporting all operational activities related to R&D and clinical studies (in the areas of clinical data management, technical data management and clinical data science) Providing clinical data science and statistical programming support for study data analytics, data visualization, validation and ADS creation while ensuring quality of data for analysis and regulatory submission Driving secondary use of data through data standardization and governance for clinical trial domain and ensuring FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) data principles are prioritized Being a subject matter expert for R&D processes for improving efficiency of data management and clinical data science activities to allow for organizational agility and continuous improvement Developing and implementing digital solutions and tools for automation of data management, analysis, and reporting through digital data flow concepts (including ML applications, RShiny apps, data selection and merge from various data sources including RWD)
Who you are:
You hold a Ph.D. (preferred) or university master degree in Biostatistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Physics or a comparable degree. You have a minimum 3 years of experience programming in R and knowledge of clinical trial processes, including clinical database development You are a strong collaborator, continuous learner, and a strong problem solver You have excellent communication skills and are able to properly manage all types of stakeholders across the organization You speak fluently in English and Spanish, both speaking and writing. German is a plus
