Reporting to the Director of Stewardship & Donor Engagement, the Senior Associate Director, Stewardship & Donor Engagement serves as a lead point person to coordinate the donor-funded impact reporting program through personalized, compelling, and timely impact reports and other materials for Boston College donors; including overseeing impact information on the use of BC's school-based funds. The Senior Associate Director oversees comprehensive, thoughtful stewardship outreach, ensuring that donors remain apprised of the positive impact that their philanthropy has at Boston College and increasing the possibility of subsequent, significant gifts. They assist the Director of Stewardship on the execution of the donor relations timelines and metrics to achieve annual reporting goals; and help cultivate project plans specifying strategy, scheduling, contingency plans, and allocation of staff resources. The Senior Associate Director is tasked with leveraging technology to scale the reporting on a growing portfolio of funds, providing systematic prioritization of BC's top donors. They must continuously evaluate and improve stewardship reporting processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. The Senior Associate Director is intimately familiar with the writing experience of the entire stewardship impact reporting team and is able to advise the team of challenges and best practices; communicating and coordinating with the division to ensure that stewardship activities further University Advancement goals. The incumbent maintains positive relationships with student scholarship recipients, the University's financial aid offices, and associate deans and faculty members across campus. They also manage the verification and maintenance of all stewardship allocation data in the CRM database system for report production, and serve as a point person to coordinate and execute database information related to established funds and the execution of reporting on gift opportunities. The salary range for this position is listed below with the final salary based on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and internal equity considerations. $86,000 - $107,500. This position requires a Bachelor's degree with a Master's preferred, in addition to a minimum of 5-7 years of professional level experience in donor relations, communications or fundraising, preferably in a large or complex institution, or the equivalent level of experience in other non-profit or for-profit environments where an understanding of donor relations and stewardship practices are critical; excellent writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail; a proven record of successful relationship management skills with internal partners and colleagues, as well as management experience. Must be a team player who is highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of advancing higher education and have an appreciation for Jesuit Catholic education and the goals and values of Boston College.
