Associate Engineer/Engineering Technician Role
Join VPT Rad and jumpstart your career in the electrical engineering industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented associate engineer/engineering technician. VPT Rad is a fast-moving and ever-changing environment that will test your ability to think on the fly and discover innovative solutions for many engineering tasks. You will learn: The essence of characterizing silicon-based devices and the effects of multiple types of radiological environments have on them. Soldering of various devices such as thru-hole, surface mount, leadless and more Key responsibilities include: Operating automated test equipment (ATE) for the execution of radiation testing/characterization of electrical components. Operating machinery that is used for the exposure of electrical components. Assisting VPT Rad's test team around the laboratory by assembling PCBs and test fixtures. Analyzing data collected from testing. This is a full-time, permanent position.
